JOB DESCRIPTION

 Norwegian Creative Studios Entertainment Supply Chain is seeking a full-time contractor to serve as an Expeditor for our New Build projects in an exciting fast-paced entertainment environment.

• 2+ years sourcing, purchasing and procurement experience is preferred. 
• Create purchase orders for approved materials and supplies in AMOS. 
• While reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain Entertainment, candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently and be self-motivated. 
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook with solid technical and analytical skills. 
• Strong communication skills and efficient time management are necessary. 
• Assist in identifying cost savings opportunities. 
• Prior experience with SAP software is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Responsible for purchasing entertainment related items and supplies for various teams at Norwegian Creative Studios in Riverview FL. This would include costuming, cosmetology, production, facilities for new build projects. 
• Liaison between NCL Entertainment team and vendors. 
• Create purchase orders for approved materials and supplies in AMOS and direct contact with vendors. 
• Track and monitor status of open orders to ensure on time delivery and expedite orders as needed. 
• Work closely with Supply Chain leads to ensure availability of materials and supplies. 
• Assist in resolving purchasing issues that may arise. 
• Be able to develop positive relationships with vendors. 
• Maintain vendor list. 
• Review and reconcile receipts and invoices. 
• Identify cost saving opportunities. 
• Work with logistics team in fulfilling and sending items needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures (or basic understanding of accounting principles involved in the purchasing process). 
• Solid Technical and Analytical Skills. 
• Problem solver. 
• Solid Project Management skills. 
• Must be able to communicate effectively with different levels of the company. 
• Must be able to work independently and handle multiple work. 
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. 
• Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated. 
• Must be computer savvy, able to learn new programs and procedures.
