BASIC PURPOSE: The Costume Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the comprehensive inventory and organization of costume assets housed in non-climate-controlled storage facility. The role will conduct detailed physical inventories of costumes, footwear, accessories and related wardrobe items, ensuring accurate and consistent asset records. Using costume bibles and production documentation, the Costume Inventory Coordinator will identify, categorize, and document costume pieces by production, character, section, and storage location while capturing critical garment information for future operational, rental, maintenance, and archival use.

JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES
- Conduct detailed physical inventories of all costume assets stored in designated warehouse and storage locations.
- Identify, count, and document costumes, shoes, hats, jewelry, accessories, and other wardrobe-related items while actively working to master knowledge of assets and production shows.
- Utilize costume bibles, locked look books, piece lists, and related documentation to accurately assign costume pieces.
- Record detailed garment information assigned by manager.
- Prepare inventory data for migration into the organization's new inventory management system. o Support the development and maintenance of standardized inventory procedures and documentation practices.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of historical costume records and reconcile discrepancies when identified.
- ;Organize costume assets logically and efficiently to improve future access, tracking, and rental readiness.
- Assist in evaluating inventory assets suitable for inclusion in the organization's costume rental program.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and inventory records utilizing Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail while working independently on large-scale inventory projects.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION: Associate's Degree, Theatrical Background/ Logistics/ Inventory/ Supply Chain
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of experience running the day-to-day operations of a professional theatrical costuming warehouse or equivalent experience in utilizing Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking systems preferred.

- Must have strong organizational skills, be able to multitask, and communication and collaboration are required. Must be able to communicate important information in a timely manner and be able to work as part of a team.
